Meet Anchisa ( Jet)
Majchaklam
I don’t believe therapy should simply help you cope. My goal is to help you understand your story, strengthen your relationships, and discover new ways of moving forward.
I am the founder of Dragonfly Perspectives Counseling PLLC, a trauma-informed private practice based in Washington State. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (License #MFTA.MG.70129183), I provide compassionate, safe, and culturally responsive care under the clinical supervision of Angelina Bowen.

My Journey & Cultural Lens
My path to becoming a therapist is deeply rooted in my own lived experiences and the family members who have shaped my worldview including being inspired by my mother-in-law, who is also a Marriage and Family Therapist. As an immigrant, I intimately understand the profound complexities of navigating dual identities, acculturation, and the deeply personal work of building a new life while honoring where you come from.
My worldview and clinical perspective are further shaped by my lived experience in an intercultural and interracial marriage with my African American husband. Together, we navigate the realities of systemic racism and the unique, beautiful complexities of raising our three multiracial children in today's world. This journey has profoundly deepened my understanding of intersectionality, racial trauma, and family resilience. I bring this real-world empathy into the therapy room, offering a highly affirming space where your racial, cultural, and relational identities are not just acknowledged, but actively valued in the therapeutic process.
My Clinical Approach
My clinical practice is built on an integrative systemic framework, meaning we will look at the whole picture of your life your relationships, your environment, and the broader societal systems you navigate daily.
I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Narrative Therapy, and actively integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Together, these powerful modalities allow us to gently process trauma, untangle the stories that no longer serve you, and foster deep, lasting healing for both individuals and couples.

Working with Children & Families
I believe children communicate in many ways, and sometimes their behaviors are their way of telling us something they may not yet have the words to express. I create a warm, supportive space where children and teens can feel safe to explore their emotions, build confidence, and develop healthy ways to navigate life's challenges.
I also believe that healing happens within relationships. I work collaboratively with parents and families to better understand each child's unique needs, strengthen connection, improve communication, and create a supportive environment where everyone can grow together.
Areas of Focus
I provide evidence-based, trauma-informed care tailored to your unique goals. My focus includes supporting clients through:
